The Manager (Legal) will form part of the General Counsel of the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority and will report directly to the Chief Officer (Legal). The post-holder will play a pivotal role in providing sound, timely, and practical legal advice and support to the Board of Governors, the Executive Chairperson, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and all entities or functions of the Authority. The Professional Officer will contribute to the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of integrated communication initiatives aimed at enhancing the reputation, visibility and public awareness of the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA).

This role will contribute to the Authority’s strategic objectives by delivering high-quality marketing campaigns, media relations, digital communications, corporate branding and stakeholder engagement initiatives, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.

The post holder will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, manage multiple assigned projects simultaneously, and provide professional guidance on communication matters across the Authority.

The Administrative Officer will be managing and handling consumer-to-trader disputes referred to the Complaints and Conciliation Directorate for conciliation, including complaints within the remit of the OCA as the National Enforcement Body (NEB) for passenger rights, primarily air passenger rights.
