The Manager (Digital Transformation and Support) will lead the Authority’s digital transformation by overseeing internal and external IT projects and promoting technology-driven, secure, and efficient solutions. The post holder will manage all phases of IT projects, including those involving artificial intelligence, and will be responsible for the administration, security, and development of the MCCAA’s ICT infrastructure. This role also includes managing the ICT function and its resources.

The Professional Officers will handle policy development, implementation, coordination, and transposition in the area pertaining to biocides/chemicals. The postholders will also ensure effective liaison and coordination with interested parties necessary to fulfil the Authority’s functions. Additionally, this role includes conducting risk assessments and authorisations for biocides and chemicals, as well as technical evaluations.

The Professional Officer will provide legal advice and support on specific projects and cases, contribute to the examination and resolution of cross-border consumer complaints within the EU, assist in the review and drafting of legislation, support investigations and enforcement actions, monitor legal and market developments, and analyse complaint patterns affecting consumer protection and the EU Single Market.
