MCCAA launches Premju Servizz bi Tbissima 2026

The MCCAA has officially launched the eleventh edition of Premju Servizz bi Tbissima, its annual initiative recognising businesses that go the extra mile in customer care and after-sales service.

During the launch, the MCCAA’s Executive Chairperson, Carmen Ciantar, said that the Authority works continuously to safeguard consumers’ rights and strengthen confidence in the marketplace, while at the same time believing that it is important to recognise and promote businesses that demonstrate a commitment to excellence. She explained that the award aims to celebrate businesses that go the extra mile to deliver high-quality service and place the consumer at the heart of their operations.

Through this initiative, the MCCAA continues to encourage high standards of customer service and promote responsible business practices that strengthen consumer trust and contribute to a more consumer-focused marketplace.

Consumers are invited to vote for businesses that have provided them with exceptional service across six categories:

  • Fashion and Beauty
  • Supermarkets and Mini-Markets
  • Electronic Products and Household Goods
  • Local Online Sellers
  • Travel Services
  • Pet Shops and Gardening

Voting is open from 16 June to 14 July 2026 and can be completed online through the competition website. Consumers may vote for more than one business, although only one vote per seller within each category is permitted.

As an added incentive, all participants will be entered into a draw to win a €1,000 cash prize.

Following the voting period, the highest-ranked businesses in each category will undergo a vetting process to ensure compliance with the Award’s Code of Conduct, which promotes transparency, effective customer care, responsible trading practices, and efficient complaint handling.

The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony in November 2026. In addition to receiving a trophy and certificate, winners will be entitled to use the Servizz bi Tbissima winner badge as a mark of excellence and commitment to outstanding customer service.
