Product recall: Bose Acoustimass, Lifestyle, and Companion Bass Modules manufactured before April 1, 2006
The MCCAA would like to inform the public about a voluntary product recall made by the manufacturer of Bose Acoustimass, Lifestyle, and Companion Bass Modules which were manufactured before April 1, 2006, as under certain conditions, electrical components within the bass module may fail and cause a potential fire hazard. Below are two images of the bass modules included in this recall which could be either in black or white colour.

Consumers with an affected bass module should immediately stop using the module and unplug it from the electrical outlet. For detailed instructions on how to identify if their bass module is part of the recall, consumers should visit: https://www.doneo.com.mt/bose-recall/
Moreover, consumers with a potentially affected bass module can contact Doneo Company Limited by sending an email to [email protected] or WhatsApp on 79497743.
Remedy: Consumers with an affected bass module will be offered a free repair or a 40% discount on a new Bose Soundbar.
