In accordance with the Pesticides Control Act, the MCCAA would like to inform the public of the product recall that the importer and distributor has made regarding ‘Rexoguard’ antibacterial and household disinfectant in all formats of 250ml, 500ml, 750ml and 2 Litres.

Pursuant to the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/1765, Chlorophene, one of the active substances contained in Rexoguard is not approved for use in disinfectants of surfaces, material, equipment and furniture with effect from 16^th December 2020. 

Consumers who have purchased this product are being requested to refrain from its use.
