In accordance with the Pesticides Control Act, the MCCAA, would like to inform the public of the product recall that the importer and distributor has made regarding ‘Peeled Broad Beans’ available in 450g packs of the brand ‘Mill-Kċina taz-Zija’ Batch: CA26419 with best before date 30.09.2021. 

This product has been recalled from the market as it has been found that it contains the presence of Benzalkonium chloride residue in excess of the prescribed pesticide maximum level.

Consumers who have purchased this product are being requested to refrain from its consumption and return the product to the relevant place of purchase.
