2. Providing reports of and follow-up/recommendations on the internal audits carried out,
3. Providing expert advice on matters related to the laboratory operations, when – and if – required, as per Directorate established programme and procedures.
The audits shall be conducted in line with the Directorate Internal Audits Programme, as specified in the Table below, over a period of at most five (5) consecutive working days.
The ideal slot for 2024 would be OCTOBER or DECEMBER. This timeframe will however be agreed upon confirmation.

The quotations shall include:
A. A copy of a recent filled-in CV of the auditor(s),
B. A list of references evidencing competence in the field of TEMPERATURE Metrology and INTERNAL AUDITS against the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017,
C. A breakdown of the service fee as follows (excluding any applicable VAT and other taxes):
Man-day rate, including travelling, accommodation, transport and reporting,
Approximate costs in relation to disbursement items (transport and flights),
D. Evidences, in a summary of around 100 words for each of the below clauses, that the auditor(s) have:
Detailed knowledge of the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017,
Expert knowledge of TEMPERATURE Metrology,
Knowledge in auditing.
The contracted auditor(s) may be bound by a confidentiality and/or non-disclosure agreement.
Deadline for the submission of quotations is 10th September 2024.
Quotations received after the deadline will not be considered.
The MCCAA would like to receive quotations for the supply and installation of units to supply forced air ventilation to the 1st floor and Ground floor at MCCAA Head Office at Mizzi House, National Road, Blata l-Bajda HMR9010.
The diameter size of the existing ducting systems at the points of entry are approximately 25cm for the 1st floor and approximately 20cm for the ground floor.
Volume : approximate area/volume is 590m2(1770m3) for 1st floor and 450m2(1350m3) for ground floor.
A site visit is highly recommended prior to quotations in order to understand better our requirements.
Quotations for the following services available are being requested:
The supply of ventilation units including type of size of units to be installed in both floors and other specifications such as consumption and sound level in decibels for each unit;
The supply of filtration systems for same also indicating price of replacement filters for both if applicable;
Installation of the units including filtration and necessary modifications necessary to fit the existing ducting system and commissioning of same;
Visual inspection/testing of existing ducting to detect any leaks/damages and repairs necessary;
Price/rate for maintaining the running of the system, (inspection/servicing of units and replacement/cleaning of filters.
Quotations are to reach this office by not later than 10th June at 11.59am. Late quotations will not be accepted. Quotation shall include a breakdown of all expenses and revision of prices after the deadline are not permitted. Measurements and sizes shown above are not necessarily precise/correct but correct measurements and sizes must be solely determined by the Contractor.
