<\/strong><\/a>The Manager (Procurement) will be responsible for hands-on management of procurement activities across the Authority\u2019s diverse units. This role involves directly handling key purchasing tasks while slowly building and centralising the procurement function. The objective is to work closely with directorates to deliver value through cost savings, supplier optimization, and process improvements. A strong negotiator, the Manager (Procurement) will ensure the best possible terms with suppliers and drive cost efficiencies across the Authority.   <\/p><p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mccaa.org.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/External_Call_Job_Description_Professional-Officer-Legal_OC_July-26.pdf\"><strong>PROFESSIONAL OFFICER (LEGAL) &#8211; (981\/2024)<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>Competition law work will be the primary focus of this role, and the selected candidate will be expected to be able to advise on all areas of competition law and to assist the Office for Competition in the promotion and enhancement of competition. This makes for an extremely varied and challenging workload. <\/p><p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/mccaa.org.mt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/External_Call_Job_Description_Professional-Officers_TRD_July-26.pdf\"><strong>PROFESSIONAL OFFICER &#8211; (572\/2026) <\/strong><\/a>To provide technical and scientific support to the assigned Directorate of the Technical Regulations Division in both the regulatory affairs and market surveillance and enforcement functions.
