The MCCAA, in collaboration with the Academy of European Law (ERA), successfully hosted the advanced competition law training seminar, "Dawn Raids in Practice," on 26-27 September 2024 in Valletta.

The two-day seminar provided an in-depth examination of dawn raids as a critical tool in antitrust investigations. Attendees gained valuable insights into the legal framework governing inspections by the European Commission and National Competition Authorities, with a focus on practical challenges encountered during these raids. Topics such as digital evidence collection, legal privileges, and the protection of confidential information were thoroughly discussed.

Led by distinguished experts, participants also had the opportunity to engage in interactive workshops and role-play exercises, enhancing their understanding of handling real-life inspection scenarios.
