Notification of Concentration
In terms of regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations, 2002 published in Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a concentration between Avia Solutions Group (ASG) PLC (Dublin, Republic of Ireland) and AirExplore, s.r.o (Bratislava, Slovak Republic) was filed on Wednesday, 22 March 2023.
The nature of the concentration is the acquisition by Avia Solutions Group (ASG) PLC of AirExplore, s.r.o.
Avia Solutions Group (ASG) PLC is involved in the services of Aviation Supporting Services, Aviation Logistics and Distribution Services, Aircraft Trading and Portfolio Management. In Malta, the group provides a number of services including Business Jet and Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul, wet/ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) leasing services, air charter brokerage services, pilot and crew training and aircraft spare parts trading.
AirExplore, s.r.o. is active in the provision of wet/ACMI leasing services for passenger air transport with a fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircrafts.
The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written objections on this notified concentration within seven days following publication of this notice at the following address:
