In terms of regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations, 2002 published in Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a concentration between Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Limited (St. Venera, Malta) and Vivian Corporation Limited (Msida, Malta) was filed on Tuesday, 28 July 2020.

The nature of the concentration is an acquisition by Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Limited of the importation and distribution rights relating to some of Vivian Corporation Limited’s brands within its fast-moving consumer goods business.

The economic sectors involved concern the food and beverage sector as well as detergents, toiletries and baby products.

The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written observations on this notified concentration within seven days following publication of this notice.
