A courtesy visit was paid to His Excellency the Ambassador of Italy to Malta, Mario Sommartino, during bilateral meetings that took place between the MCCAA and the University of Bari. This courtesy visit was led by Hon Deo Debattista, Parliamentary Secretary for Consumer Rights, Public Cleansing and Support for the Capital City and Inġ. Helga Pizzuto, Chairperson MCCAA.

Representatives of the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Science of the Universita’ degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro led by Professor Simeone Pascuzzi attended the bilateral meetings that focused on sharing of knowledge on measures supporting the sustainable use of pesticides with a particular focus on the testing of pesticides application equipment.
