In terms of Regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations 2002, published in the Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a concentration between Oaktree Capital Management L.P. (Los Angeles, United States) and Costa Edutainment S.p.A. (Genova,Italy), was filed on Thursday, 2 May 2019.

The nature of the concentration is a joint control by Oaktree Capital Management L.P., by virtue of an Investment Agreement of Costa Edutainment S.p.A. and indirectly, joint control of Zifio Ltd (Valletta, Malta) and Marineland Ltd (Baħar Iċ-Ċagħaq, Malta). 

The economic sectors involved in this concentration are those concerning electronics, chemicals, sports, network and entertainment.

The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written observations on this notified concentration.

Such written observations should reach the Office for Competition within seven days following publication of this notice.
