In terms of Regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations 2002, published in the Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a joint venture between J&C Pisani Limited (Marsa, Malta) and P.J. Sutters (Holdings) Company Limited (Luqa, Malta), was filed on Friday, 14^th September 2018 and accepted as a complete notification on Monday, 17^th September 2018.

Through the proposed concentration, the notifying parties will acquire joint control of a newly established company called Sutters & Co Limited, which will take over the business carried out by P.J. Sutters (Holdings) Company Limited.

The economic sectors involved in this concentration are those concerning the wholesale of various food products.

The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written observations on this notified concentration.

Such written observations should reach the Office for Competition within seven days following publication of this notice.
