In terms of Regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations 2002, published in the Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a joint venture between V.J. Salomone Marketing Limited (Marsa, Malta) and Vivian Corporation Limited (Msida, Malta), was filed on Wednesday, 16^th May 2018 and accepted as a complete notification on Thursday, 17^th May 2018.

The nature of the concentration is a joint venture between V.J. Salomone Marketing Limited and Vivian Corporation Limited, with the aim to establish a new entity, which will act as the sole Maltese representative of a number of brands, specifically in the perfumery, toiletry and cosmetics market.

The economic sectors involved in this concentration are those concerning the perfumery, toiletry and cosmetics market.

The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written observations on this notified concentration.

Such written observations should reach the Office for Competition within seven days following publication of this notice.
