In terms of regulation 5(4) of the Control of Concentrations Regulations, 2002 published in Legal Notice 294 of 2002, the Director General of the Office for Competition notifies for general information that a notification of a concentration between James B. Holdings Ltd (Tarxien) and Seabank Hotel and Catering Limited (Mellieha) was filed on Friday, 20 June 2025.

The nature of the concentration is the acquisition of sole control by James B. Holdings Ltd, of Malta Healthcare Caterers Ltd, Kore Air Services Limited and Kore Inflight Services Limited that it currently jointly owns with Seabank Hotel and Catering Limited.

James B. Holdings Ltd is a holding company that holds investments in companies operating in a range of industries such as management services, long-term care facilities, healthcare catering services, operation of educational institutions, health and social care services, nursing and healthcare worker services, and inflight catering and administrative services.

Malta Healthcare Caterers Ltd provides management services of long-term care facilities and healthcare catering services for hospitals and nursing homes. Kore Air Services Limited provides inflight catering services to the national and international airlines. Kore Inflight Services Ltd provides administrative and management support services to Kore Air Services Limited.

The Director General of the Office for Competition invites interested third parties to submit their written objections on this notified concentration within seven days following publication of this notice at the following address:
